The former president's Family Member Receives Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

The rising star maintains substantial social media presence

The young golfer will have multiple well-known cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns several courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she stated.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in only three events in 2024 and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, relax, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in the sport at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, especially with youth audiences.

Kai maintains substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
