I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
